Product Questions

  • Do your products need to be refrigerated?

    Our Dressings, Dips, Aiolis and Quesos need to be refrigerated at all times before and after opening. Our Ketchups and Mayos only require refrigeration after opening.

  • How long is the shelf life?

    Our Best Before Date varies between products so please always check the label.

  • How long can I keep your products in the fridge after opening?

    Once opened and stored in the fridge, we recommend you try to consume our products within 30 days for optimal taste.

  • Can I consume your products if I have an allergy?

    All major allergens recognized by the FDA and CFIA are listed in the ingredients and highlighted on our packaging, where applicable. Some of our products contain or may contain sesame and/or coconut. Please always check the label.

  • Are all of your products Kosher?

    All of our dressings and dips are Kosher certified with the exception of our Balsamic Dressing & Marinade, due to the use of Balsamic Vinegar, which is not Kosher. Our Ketchups and Mayos are not currently Kosher.

  • Are your products Organic and Non-GMO?

    Our products are all certified Non-GMO. All of our products are also certified Organic, with the exception of Quesos which contain at least 87% organic ingredients.

  • Are all of your products vegan?

    Yes, all of our products are vegan.

  • What is banana flour?

    Banana flour is made from green, unripen bananas that are collected, peeled, dried and ground into a fine powder. It adds natural creaminess to some of our products and acts as a prebiotic while making use of bananas that would otherwise go to waste.

  • What is citrus fibre?

    Citrus fibre comes from the parts of citrus fruits that would normally go to waste after juicing, such as peels and cores. The "waste" from juicing is minimally processed by gently drying to become citrus fibre. We use it in some of our products as a natural emulsifier.

  • Is your packaging recyclable?

    Yes. Our glass containers, along with their metal lid and labels, are completely recyclable. Please check your local recycling program for details.

  • How do you sweeten your products?

    Not all of our products are sweetened, and we never use refined sugars. Some of our products may contain coconut sugar, a sustainable sweetener that’s low-glycemic, maple syrup or dates. All of our products are limited to 0-2 grams per serving. Please refer to the label for more detailed information.

  • How do I rate your products?  

    You can rate our products on any of our product pages. Just click on the product page you’d like to rate and scroll to the bottom to get started. We appreciate your feedback!

  • Why can't I get your refrigerated Ketchup anymore?

    Our new Organic Classic Ketchup is virtually identical to our original Ketchup Style Sauce, but now in a bigger glass bottle, easier to pour and only needs refrigeration after opening. We also have a new Spicy version if you like a touch of heat!

Shipping/Shopping

  • Why is there a minimum purchase requirement?

    Our products require special shipping care, and we minimize fees by offering two options: a flat rate on four or five items, or free shipping on six bottles or more.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, PayPal and ShopPay.

  • How do I track my order?

    After your purchase has been confirmed, you should receive an email with a tracking number. If you do not receive this email, please check your junk mail or contact us at info@motherraw.com

  • My products did not arrive cold. What should I do?

    Our products are shipped in a cooler containing ice packs. Even if your products didn’t arrive cold, they will be safe to consume. Our products will not spoil while in transit when factory sealed. However, please place your products in the fridge as soon as possible and keep them in the fridge for the freshest taste. If your product has been out of the fridge for days (maybe you were on vacation) or if your products arrived outside of our shipping window (5 business days), then please reach out to us at info@motherraw.com

  • I opened my product and think it has gone bad. What do I do?

    If you forgot to store your Dressings or Dips in the fridge, this will affect the products. If your product appears spoiled and is still within the best before date, please contact us via email at info@motherraw.com. In your e-mail, please be sure to include when and where you purchased the product and the best before date on the label.

  • Why is my product separating?

    Our dressings are all made with premium olive oil, which naturally rises to the top and thickens in the fridge (below 38°F / 3°C). We suggest giving it a couple of minutes on the countertop or running the bottle under warm water before shaking.

  • Can my single serve sachets be kept out of the fridge?

    All of Mother Raw Dressings are meant to be refrigerated. We don’t recommend leaving them out for more than a few days for the optimal fresh taste experience.

  • Where can I buy your product other than online?

    We are a small but growing company and are in the midst of spreading our plant-powered products throughout North America. You can purchase them online in our website or check the store locator by CLICKING HERE.

  • What is high oleic sunflower oil used in your plant-based Mayo?

    Our Mayos are made with both organic Virgin Olive Oil and organic High Oleic Sunflower Oil to give us a perfect balance of flavour and texture. Our organic High Oleic Sunflower Oil is extracted from sunflower seeds using a physical crushing process, not a chemical extraction. The composition of the fatty acid profile is what sets it apart. In fact, the FDA has approved the claim that high oleic oils reduce the risk of coronary heart disease when replacing saturated fats. High oleic sunflower oil has a higher percentage of oleic acid when compared to the other fatty acids most commonly present in sunflower oil.
